the times building

the times building is the epitome of scranton. there's not much else that describes this city like the iconic times building does, and the times tribune has no idea how much gen z capitalizes off of its building's aesthetic.

you can't miss the times building sign, especially at night. in the winter months, the tower is wrapped with colored christmas lights that you can see miles away while you're driving along the the scranton expressway. when i saw those lights for the first time after being away at college my freshman year, i cried a little bit. i knew i was home.
